This Privacy Policy applies to the Block Clock mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application"), created by Yaroslav Nesterov as open-source software.

1. Permissions & No Data Collection

The Application is designed with a privacy-first approach and operates as a standalone local clock widget.

• No Privacy-Sensitive Permissions: The Application does not request or use permissions to access your personal data, location, contacts, files, or hardware identifiers.
• System Service Permissions: Standard background system permissions (such as boot completion receiver and network state check) are used strictly by the OS and Google Play Core to restore widget operations after device reboot and check for app updates.
• No Data Collection: The Application does not collect, track, process, or transmit any personal data or usage metrics.

2. Local Storage of Preferences

All user preferences (such as widget appearance, layout, colors, and clock display options) are processed and saved strictly on-device in the Application’s private internal storage (e.g., SharedPreferences). This data never leaves your device and is erased completely upon uninstalling the Application or clearing its app data.

3. Network Activity & Updates

The Application itself has no internet access or backend services.

• The Application utilizes the Google Play Core SDK solely to enable in-app update checks via the Google Play Store.
• System communication during update checks is handled directly by Google Play Services and is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Open Source Transparency

The Application is open-source software. Anyone can review the source code and AndroidManifest.xml to independently verify the absence of permissions, analytics, or remote data transfer.

This policy may be updated periodically. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
